This week was full of Sister Fillmore and I drooling over people's homes. Mostly because we've only seen the inside of the church and our tiny apartment for three months, but also because people have really beautiful houses. It is celestial to be able to teach in person.
The work is going really well over here! Our area has someone on date for baptism!!! We actually have never met him - the missionaries in another area put him on date and found out he lived in our area so they had to refer him. The other people we are teaching are doing wonderful!
Transfer calls are on Friday so I'll be finding out whether or not I'm staying here in Bend. I have a feeling I'm leaving! But we'll see :').
A fun project we started on this week: as you know we do a lot of our finding on Facebook! We interact with a lot of people who like and comment on posts. About two weeks ago I wrote a song about Christ and our zone leaders have been helping us make a music video out of it. A lady in our ward is a professional vocalist and let us use some of her equipment to record it. It's in the making but we are excited to see how it helps others. I'm very grateful that I'm able to use the talents God has given me out here!
Ether 12:4
Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which hope cometh of faith, maketh an anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God.
We've been sharing this scripture with a lot of people! I love the beginning that says our belief in God allows us to with SURETY hope for a better world. Even if sometimes that's only our own personal world. God loves us and wants the best for us. He's in control.
Sister Carlson

2- hahaha I promise I'm not posing in this Sister fillmore was sneakily taking pictures of me like a mom
3- I bought a harmonic about two hours ago and I'm determined to become a pro
4- once upon a time we were peacefully sitting in the family history center alone when BAM a muffin flies through the window. The zone leaders through a muffin at us and ran away. It wasn't even good it literally had raisins in it. Elders are weird.
