Hi everyone!
I went to church for the first time since the very beginning of my mission haha. What's even more fun is I got to play the organ! It was kinda strange though because no one was allowed to sing.
I'M BACK IN THE TRIO LIFE. This is technically the third time I've been in a trio. (After the MTC I was in one for a week when Sister Atkin went home.) It was so sad to say goodbye to Sister Goold because we all love her. But it's fun to be back in a trio. (It's also insanely busy because we are covering both wards now, so we are busy busy!)
Man it is so wonderful to have a front row seat to the Atonement of Jesus Christ working miracles in people's lives. I LOVE watching people fall in love with the Book of Mormon.
I've been thinking a lot about a quote I saw the other day: "True love begins when you care more about others than yourself." Somehow that has really struck a chord with me lately. That's the pure love of Christ - when He had every reason to turn inward, He turned outward. Focused on helping others. I want to be more like that.

- SISTER RISENMAY GOT A PIXIE CUT. Our STL cut hair at home and she CHOPPED IT OFF. It was so spontaneous and I am proud of her
-playing the good ol' Organ in Oregon hah
-there's a neighborhood here that has peacocks and I saw them while wearing my peacock mask haha
