Right now in Oregon there's a "freeze" going on... meaning no gatherings the next two weeks over 6 people. Slaughtered a lot of people's thanksgiving plans (including ours) - so a member made us dinner and we ate in the high council room! Not gonna lie it was still a party.
Things are amazing! Some stories:
-Tea and Christmas with Becky. We talked to this lady we found through Facebook named Becky who invited us over to do service for her... aka decorate her Christmas tree. BEST SERVICE EVER. She also fed us tea and cookies (we had to explain to her it had to be herbal tea hah). Becky goes to another church but the lady went off about how she was reading a lot of stories about Jesus visiting native Americans after He was resurrected... so we were like "uh dont know if you know about the Book of Mormon buuuuut that's kinda exactly what it's about." At the end we gave her a Book of Mormon. She was so excited and said, "I'm going to read it and have questions!!"
-We did a zone service project cleaning up houses that burnt down in the Oregon wildfires in Otis. We wore these crazy heavy duty masks and at one point it was pouring rain. Honestly sad to see those homes destroyed but glad we could help. One Elder found a bunch of baby doll heads in the rubble and placed one on each finger haha so creepy.
I'm so grateful to be a missionary! (I hit 10 months in 3 days... which is bizarre.) Honestly I've loved being out here during the virus. Even though the world is whacky, all we do is spread happiness and Light. :)

Can't forget the picture if Becky's tree decorated by yours truly... (mostly Sister Johnson). And the creepy baby doll heads.
