Jen's first Intern Job

Jen had three interviews last week with different middle school principals. Her favorite interview was with the Payson principal. He called her back the same day they had the interview and offered her an intern job at Payson Jr. High School for 2017 to May 2018. She starts in August teaching Science. We are excited for her!!

I remember taking Jenny to a Science Conference held for young women at UVU years ago when she was a Senior at Provo High. Thanks to a great chemistry female teacher at Provo High that really influenced Jen at a young age, she is now actually going to teach Biology and Chemistry.

This photo was taken a while ago when she met with her first Mission President and wife who were getting ready to serve just as missionaries in a different mission for the church.

Jenny has had such great examples to follow over the years. Now it's her turn to maybe help and influence the youth of today.

Jen worked for four years as a janitor at Dixon Middle School before her mission and while she attended Provo High. This photo was taken with a co-worker friend getting ready to go to a banquet in Salt Lake City, and to honor them as janitors for the cleanest school in Utah.

She saved all her janitor money and bought her first Honda vehicle with cash. Jen has always been a hard worker and will be a great teacher. We have been so blessed to have her in our family. She is a great example to me and her siblings.

Another great influence in Jenny's life I think has been her older brother Jacob.  She loves her sisters but Jen and her brother are fourteen months apart and have always been close. Even though they don't see each other as often as they did living under the same roof. They still seem to have a close bond when we all get together to celebrate a special occasion, or just visit after a Sunday meal.

One of my favorite photo's.
Life has been good to the Carlson Family!
