I can’t believe the last day of school was today. I have been waiting for this day for a looong time. Since I’ll be turning 66 this summer I’ve decided to cut back on hours working at Amelia Earhart Elementary as a Title 1 Aide.
I still want to cross guard before and after school for Provo City Police department. The cool air wakes me up in the morning and it’s fun to greet the students. Hopefully I can just work during lunch time at the School. Life has come full circle for me since I only worked during lunch time at Sunset View Elementary 16 years ago. Maybe I can also do volunteer work for an hour every Tuesday and Thursday’s to help with math and writing in Julie Holman’s class. I know what to expect and I think we work really well together. I have worked with Julie for the past three years and have really enjoyed being her Kindergarten Aide. We have had some pretty good laughs together being entertained by five and six year-olds.
