Last year of school & House Projects

I will miss working with Julie Holman! The kids were fun as well. I have worked with Provo School  District since 2009! It’s time to move on. I will still hold on to my job with the Police Department doing cross guarding on Center street. Plus I have been asked to be a lunch monitor for one hour every day starting in August. Amelia Earhart will give give me around $500.00 a month and the police department will pay me the same for doing morning and after school shifts. With my Social Security check every month I should be fine to work into a semi retirement life style. I just have to be very alert with some of the speeding cars that don't obey the law.

Both Gary and I have been separately receiving Social Security checks which has been nice. I hope to be able to volunteer at Amelia Earhart Elementary for a few hours a week as well. Teacher's can always use more support and being a volunteer will be way more fun! Some of the children at school really struggle in a structured environment. I have gained a lot of respect for all school teachers. Their work in the classroom can sometimes be very intense and that is when administration gets involved. I have a lot of respect for administration as well. If everyone works together in harmony it really benefits the student and the classroom.

I have learned so much working for the Title One Program at school. The last four years I was an aide for just Kindergarten only and administered WIDA testing twice a year. Before that I helped all grades at the elementary level with reading and teaching the 95% curriculum. We were also recess guard's and lunch helpers so I have learned a lot working at school.

Now back to house projects.

GW spray painting.

Finally a third bathroom! Almost Finished!!

Wiring took all week!
