Sister Florida

Hey everyone!
Today has been crazy and I have to go in three minutes, but I wanted to mention some miracles-
Our investigator Mrs. S set a baptismal date! November 24th. By then she'll be able to walk (with the assistance of a walker). General Conference had a really big influence on her. After she watched the first session with us she felt really good. Although, when we came for a lesson last week, she had started to feel some doubts about some things.
We taught her that God doesn't work through feeling like doubt. We asked if her questions were answered at conference and she said they were. She knows that joining this church is the right thing to do, and she practically set her own date, without hardly any mention from us! A few days later we went to go see her and she said "I can't stop thinking about my baptism! I think about it when I go to bed, and when I wake up. I catch myself smiling about it!” S’s sister has also decided that she wants to sit in on the lessons! When S’s sister expressed interest, it was right after S gave the closing prayer at a lesson and S said, "My prayer just got answered!" (She prayed that her family would be more supportive). Mrs. S's house is a house of miracles.

Last night we received a new investigator! The son of a less active lady who wants to be baptized. We knew about him for a while, but have never been able to get in contact with them because they were in the middle of moving. With him and S’s sister, I feel like we're more hunters than fishers of men. "Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the Lord, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks." -Jeremiah 16:16. We have people in our sights - we know who they are and we try and think of ways that we can engage them in the missionary lessons. Unlike being a fisher - where that's more like tracting. Working with the members is how we can develop our hunter skills, and using tools like Golden Hour is how we can develop our fishing skills (ex. knocking on doors, talking to everyone, etc).
Anyway. Some other things happened, but because there were so many emails to read I don't really have time - even with unlimited email time now. Sorry. If you send them by mail, I have a lot more time to read them. Mention at the beginning maybe that you're sending it by mail. :)
Later from the land of Gators!
Love ya!
