Flowers and Taika

My yearly June photo’s of our yard. This year I planted more marigolds and light pink geraniums with all the other regular annuals.
I seem to get much pleasure out of doing yard work in the summer. The new exciting day is every Thursday when I get out our brand new John Deere riding lawn mower! I enjoy riding it so much I haven’t let GW have a turn. Yee Haw

I had to reinforce our Locust tree since it was starting to lean towards the north way too much.
And then there is this little critter. Just laying around all day sitting on my new swing. We have had quite the ordeal trying to figure out how he was getting out of our temporary fence. Finally one evening I sat behind our big apple tree in the back yard and sure enough after the third try this little chubby puppy hopped right over the three and half foot fence. Go figure! We hope to get a nicer rod iron fence up in the fall, but as of now Taika cannot be left alone unless he’s hooked up to an extended leash!!
I do enjoy taking him on my walks every morning. Jess and I rode our bikes on the river trail today with Taika in his new K9 dog back pack. He doesn’t wail unless he see’s Jessie of course, so I make sure she rides behind me. I think Taika and I have bonded.🙂
