The past three days have been insanity.
I was transferred to Monmouth yesterday and I'm going to be training a brand new missionary straight from the online MTC! We both will be "pink washing" the area (meaning we both have never been here and have to figure everything out together haha). We pick her up later today.
Highlights of my last week in Bend:
-OUR FRIEND LIVING IN INDIA IS GETTING BAPTIZED. Sometime. There's only 25 missionaries in all of India cause most of them got kicked out, and our friend doesn't live close to any members. And the place he lives is on major lockdown still because of the virus. So basically our friend has to exercise faith and possibly wait a long time to be baptized! He is the most faithful person ever. We had to say goodbye because of transfers and it was so emotional. He is amazing and I'm kinda convinced he is going to be a general authority one day.
-Music video! Once upon a time a few weeks ago I wrote a song about Christ on the guitar. That experience was really special in of itself. Since we are still doing all of our finding on Facebook, the zone leaders decided to help us make a little music video about Christ from it. It was a fun project! At one point we were filming at a park and this random guy started yelling at us and calling out insulting names. It was awkward but we kept on. We will pray for that man! He needs Jesus. Anyways it was a fun project and I'm grateful for the opportunity!
If you don't have Facebook - I never went on Facebook before my mission and now I'm on it so much that afterward I never want to go on it again - and want to know what I'm talking about this link will probably take you to the video:
-I said goodbye to so many of my favorite people in Bend :')
Monmouth is so pretty! I haven't been on this side of Oregon at all and it is GORGEOUS. So green and I'm not used to it haha.
I'm excited to see what is to come!
