After leaving our Airbnb in Osaka, Japan provides a great luggage service where you can take your carry on luggage to an office near the train station or a 7 Eleven store. We all payed $10.00 each and the luggage company shipped our things to the next Airbnb in Tokyo. All there was to carry for the rest of the day was our individual backpacks.We also had a nice breakfast with Jenny and JJ’s neighbors from Misawa who were visiting relatives in Osaka.
Off to Shinkansen, Japan’s fastest train for around $70.00 to Tokyo.
The train was pretty quiet even though we were going really fast. Right before we boarded the train Shinkansen station sells really cute box lunches that we were able to eat on our three hour trip. I did see Mt. Fuji outside my window but it was just the shadow of it since the sun was setting behind the mountain. It was still very BIG. We finally arrived in Tokyo at night and found our new Airbnb which was smaller and older but still comfortable. My favorite was having two kitchens!
